ASK in conjuction with the Appalachia Sports Complex committee would like to invite you and everyone you know who supoorts our efforts to visit our website (www.appyskatepark.com)to sign our online petition. Just click on "sign our online petition". The petition is requesting that the Norfolk Southern Corporation donate a parcel of land they own to the Town of Appalachia for the construction of a sports complex to include, but not be limited to a regulation size baseball field, full size basketball court, tennis courts, walking track, picnic areas and skatepark. We thank you for your support.

Signed it. Good luck
No chance that "sports complex" will ever be biult there. N&S would never give up that chunk of land. And even if it does happen, is this complex suppose to bring people to Appalachia? My prediction is in the next 25 to 50 years, Appalachia and all the camps will be nothing but the remnants of strip mines..a ghost town.
Anyway, good luck.

So,..did you sign our petition Shooter?
